Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada, Hotel Review
Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada is a colourful three star all inclusive hotel and one of the smaller hotels on Playa Dorada. They still manage to pack in two outdoor swimming pools and three restaurants though. The Viva Wyndham is closed for refurbishment from September to December 2009.
There are approximately 200 rooms at the Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada, half of which are suites. The rooms are spread over 3 floors with balcony or terrace. When you make a reservation you can request if you which floor you prefer.

” Been to Playa Dorada four times and first time here to the Viva Wyndham. Five minutes to the beach but no problem getting a nice spot with sunbeds. Kids loved the beach restaurant – pizzas are very good. Food in buffet OK, always enjoyed Brekkie. Thai restaurant was great. Good atmosphere, lots of Canadians. Overall would like to go back as staff so friendly, they are renovating so will check in 2010 see how the prices are. Don’t mind paying a bit more for the Gran Ventana though which is closer to beach and better food “
